Where startup and early stage companies compete for recognition and substantial cash prizes. Companies must be no more than 5 years old with no more than 10 full-time employees. There will be a winner in each of the four categories.

Panel of Successful Innovators
Startups compete for recognition and cash prizes to a community of investors and seasoned entrepreneurs. Judges will select 3 companies from each of the 4 categories below to give a 5-minute pitch, with 5 minutes of judges’ questions. There will be a winning company in each category and these companies will receive a cash award.
The audience will vote for Top Innovator by investing their “NBIS Dollars.” The Top Innovator winner will be awarded a cash prize of several thousand dollars.
No solicitation for funds at this event.
Redwood Grove Dinner and Fireside Chat
After the competition, join the VIPs at the Redwood Grove Dinner and Fireside Chat for dinner and connections. A locally sourced farm-to-table meal will be followed by an intimate chat between North Bay Angels Che Voigt of Altwork and Lisa Tamayo of Scollar about their entrepreneurial and investing experiences. Brad Bollinger, publisher of the North Bay Business Journal, will be moderate the discussion. 6pm–8pm.
This event requires a separate ticket—a percent of proceeds go to support Farmster in their amazing work.
